We'll tell you how to make a simple sesame soup. This is a Middle Eastern dish, for example, the way Israelis cook it. All you need to do is boil the rice, blend the sesame with olive oil and lemon juice, mix everything and add spices. For more authenticity, add za'atar and eat the soup with pita bread on the side.

1
Place rice in a pot, add 1.5 liters of water, salt it, and put it on the fire. Cook until the rice is ready — about twenty minutes. Do not drain the water.
- Rice: 200 g
- Salt: to taste

2
In a blender, mix olive oil, lemon juice, and sesame seeds - it should result in a homogeneous paste.
- Olive oil: 100 ml
- Lemon juice: 60 ml
- Sesame seeds: 100 g

3
Remove the pot with rice from the heat and whisk in the paste. Pour the soup into bowls and season with black pepper and finely chopped parsley if desired.
- Ground black pepper: to taste
- Parsley: to taste
