This quick soup with tomato juice embodies the Spanish gastronomic temperament. Its rich tomato broth, enhanced by the aroma of smoked meats and the spicy notes of garlic and spices, transforms an ordinary dish into a culinary symphony. The tradition of adding meat and vegetables to a tomato base originated in Spanish villages where farmers cooked quickly using available ingredients. The combination of sweet peppers, fresh celery, and green peas gives the soup freshness and brightness, while the final touch—cubes of feta and herbs—adds creaminess and sophistication. This soup is perfect for cozy family dinners or a light yet hearty lunch. It can be served with crispy baguette, enjoying every sip of warm, rich Spanish cuisine.
