Bean soup with sour milk is a traditional dish of Serbian cuisine that combines the richness of beans, the tenderness of eggs, and a light tang from the milk. It has roots in the rural kitchens of the Balkans, where simple ingredients were skillfully used to create hearty and aromatic dishes. The finished soup achieves a creamy texture enriched with a mild spiciness from red pepper and fresh notes of onion and garlic. Sour milk serves as the finishing touch, adding a soft tang and freshness to the dish. This soup is perfect for cold evenings or cozy family meals, offering harmony of flavor and nourishment in every spoonful.
