Indian Chicken Soup

35 minutes
Indian-style chicken soup is a vivid example of Indian cuisine where rich spice aromas harmoniously blend with fresh herbs. This recipe is rooted in traditional Indian soups where herbs and spices play a key role. Nutmeg and curry add warm, spicy notes to the broth, while spinach, mint, and cilantro provide freshness. Sautéed chicken pieces make the dish hearty and rich, while boiled rice serves as the perfect complement to soften the soup's spicy flavor. Light, aromatic, and nutritious, this soup is great for a warming dinner or a light lunch. It can be served with naan bread or fresh lime to enhance its rich taste.
