Low-calorie 'Caesar' dressing is a light yet flavorful sauce inspired by the classic recipe. Its history traces back to the traditional 'Caesar' dressing created in 1924 by Italian chef Caesar Cardini in Tijuana. This version retains the characteristic notes of anchovies, parmesan, and garlic but replaces calorie-dense components with lighter ones like kefir and yogurt. The taste is harmonious with a subtle tang from lemon juice and the spiciness of Worcestershire sauce. It’s perfect for diet salads without overloading the dish with calories while enriching it with depth of flavor. This dressing is an excellent solution for those seeking a balance between taste and health.
