Tomato and strawberry sauce for meat

This unusual sauce was born at the intersection of Italian culinary traditions and bold culinary experiments. The combination of sweet, juicy strawberries with tangy, rich tomatoes creates a unique flavor—both refreshing and deep. Dill adds a light herbal note to the sauce, garlic adds spiciness, and thick mayonnaise makes it tender and creamy. This sauce pairs perfectly with meat dishes, especially roasted pork or beef, enhancing their flavor and adding complexity. It can be used as a marinade, an accompaniment to steak, or even as an unusual dip for snacks. The hand-chopping of ingredients gives the sauce a textural richness that enhances its gastronomic appeal.

1
Pour boiling water over the tomatoes to remove the skin.
- Tomatoes: 500 g
2
Cut off all the stems of the dill, leaving only the fluffy sprigs.
- Dill: 1 bunch
3
Do not chop the strawberries too finely. All ingredients can be blended, but chopping by hand with a knife will taste much better, as it's easy to overdo it in a blender and make a 'mash'.
- Strawberry: 500 g
4
Chop the tomatoes and dill very finely.
- Tomatoes: 500 g
- Dill: 1 bunch
5
Press the garlic, add strawberries, mayonnaise (ideally homemade, if not, take a very thick one), salt, and pepper.
- Garlic: 1 head
- Strawberry: 500 g
- Mayonnaise: 250 g
- Salt: to taste
- Ground black pepper: 1 teaspoon
