Dzhadziki with sour cream is a refreshing Greek sauce adapted to the delicate taste of sour cream. Traditionally, dzhadziki is made with yogurt, but sour cream gives it a softer texture and creamy hue. This sauce embodies the aromas of fresh cucumbers, the spiciness of garlic, and the zest of herbs—parsley and dill. A light tang makes the flavor harmonious, while pepper and salt add depth. Dzhadziki with sour cream pairs excellently with meat dishes, vegetables, and flatbreads and can also serve as a dip for snacks. Chilled, it becomes even more aromatic, and its freshness perfectly refreshes on hot days. It is a wonderful addition to Mediterranean cuisine that gives familiar dishes a new flavor note.
