Homemade Mushroom Burgers

30 minutes
Homemade burgers with mushrooms combine classic American fast food with the refined taste of aromatic champignons. Such a burger transports us to the cozy atmosphere of home gatherings, where each ingredient plays its role. Juicy beef patties infused with spices harmonize with melted cheddar cheese, while the mushroom filling adds richness and a light creamy note to the dish. Refreshing vegetables – cucumbers and tomatoes – add juiciness, and lightly toasted soft buns create the perfect balance of textures. This burger is not just food but a true gastronomic ritual where each layer reveals new facets of flavor. It is perfect for a cozy family dinner or friendly get-togethers, creating an atmosphere of warmth and comfort.

1
Chop the onion into small pieces and fry until golden. Add thinly sliced champignons. Fry until golden crust forms. Place in a bowl, mix with mayonnaise and mustard (leaving some mayonnaise and mustard for spreading on the bun). Mix well.
- Onion: 0.3 piece
- Fresh champignons: 6 pieces
- Mayonnaise: 5 tablespoon
- Mustard: 1 tablespoon
2
Season the minced meat with salt and pepper, and mix well. Form 4 flat, thin patties from the minced meat. Fry in a well-heated pan with a minimal amount of oil, pressing the patties with a spatula to prevent them from rising. Once a brown crust forms on one side, flip and continue frying, pressing with the spatula, until the second side is browned. The patties are thin, so they cook quickly.
- Ground beef: 250 g
- Salt: to taste
- Ground black pepper: to taste
3
When the patties are browned, remove the pan from the heat, place a piece of cheese on each patty, and cover with a lid. This way, the cheese will melt by the time you assemble the burger.
- Cheddar cheese: 4 pieces
4
Lightly toast the buns in a toaster or oven.
- Hamburger bun: 4 pieces
5
Cut a large tomato into thin crosswise rings. One ring equals one burger. Slice the cucumber into rounds (3-4 rounds per burger).
- Tomatoes: 1 piece
- Cucumbers: 1 piece
6
Spread mayonnaise with mustard on the bottom bun, layer cucumbers, then the patty with cheese, then the mushroom mix, tomato, and the top bun spread with ketchup. Repeat for each burger.
- Mayonnaise: 5 tablespoon
- Mustard: 1 tablespoon
- Cucumbers: 1 piece
- Cheddar cheese: 4 pieces
- Fresh champignons: 6 pieces
- Tomatoes: 1 piece
- Ketchup: 3 tablespoons
- Hamburger bun: 4 pieces
