If the shrimp are very large, cut each in half. Melt butter and olive oil in a small pot over low heat, then add the shrimp and cook, stirring for 3-4 minutes, until the shrimp turn pink and are almost cooked. Then use a slotted spoon to place the shrimp on a plate.
- Peeled shrimp: 500 g
- Butter: 25 g
- Olive oil: 3 tablespoons

In the pan where the shrimp were fried, add flour, mix well, gradually pour in milk while constantly stirring with a wooden spoon. Cook the sauce for 10 minutes on low heat, then add curry — if using — and salt to taste. Return the shrimp to the sauce and mix well. Then spread the mixture on slices of bread and sprinkle with grated cheese.
- Wheat flour: 1 tablespoon
