Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Cheese sandwiches are at the top of the snack charts. A surefire way to make them even better is to fry them in a pan, so the bread gets a crispy crust and the cheese melts. Here's the American version: the grilled cheddar sandwich. The special thing about this method is that the bread is buttered beforehand, which makes the sandwich extra juicy.

1
Spread softened butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
- Butter: 15 g
- Toast bread: 2 pieces

2
Heat a skillet over medium heat, place a slice of bread butter-side down on it, add cheese on top to cover the entire surface of the bread. Cover the cheese with a second slice of bread so that the buttered side is facing up.
- Toast bread: 2 pieces
- Cheddar cheese: 30 g

3
Fry the bread until the butter in the pan stops sizzling. Flip it and fry the same way until the noise from the butter touching the pan stops.
- Butter: 15 g

4
Cut the ready sandwich into triangular halves and eat it immediately.
- Toast bread: 2 pieces
