Shopska Salad

A traditional Bulgarian salad that requires good sour feta cheese - look for it at the market and try it in advance. Red bell peppers can easily be changed to green or yellow, the color is not important here.

Prepare the necessary ingredients.

Remove the core from the pepper and place it in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 20 minutes.
- Red sweet pepper: 1 piece

Then cover it or place it in a bag and let it cool.

Peel the cooled pepper and cut it into strips.
- Red sweet pepper: 1 piece

Peel the cucumbers and cut them into thick rings.
- Cucumbers: 300 g

Cut the tomatoes into convenient pieces that will fit in your mouth.
- Tomatoes: 400 g

Cut the onion into half rings.
- Onion: 150 g

Chop the parsley and grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
- Parsley: 10 g
- Feta cheese: 200 g

Mix the vegetables and parsley in a large bowl, adding olive oil and vinegar.
- Parsley: 10 g
- Olive oil: 50 ml
- Red wine vinegar: 30 ml
- Salt: to taste
- Ground black pepper: to taste

Sprinkle with feta cheese on top and decorate with olives.
