Layered vegetable salad is a bright and appetizing dish that has become popular in European cuisine due to its freshness and rich flavor. Each layer of this salad plays its role: sweet pepper adds juiciness, sautéed onions and carrots provide warm caramelized notes, while fresh cucumbers refresh and add a crunchy texture. A creamy sauce made of sour cream, mayonnaise, and garlic binds the ingredients together, with the finishing touch being grated cheese and cherry tomatoes that add softness and a slight tang.
