Spelt with mussels, tomatoes, and basil is a refined dish of Italian cuisine that combines the tenderness of seafood with the aromatic freshness of herbs. Spelt, an ancient grain with a rich nutty flavor, harmonizes beautifully with juicy tomatoes, spicy garlic, and refreshing basil. Mussels cooked in white wine with bay leaves and parsley add a rich marine note to the dish. This dish is perfect for both festive dinners and light Mediterranean lunches. The lightness and balance of flavors make it an excellent choice for health-conscious eaters. Garnished with fresh basil leaves and drizzled with olive oil, it looks as appealing as it sounds.
