Penne with pepper sauce is a dish with vibrant Mediterranean notes inspired by Yugoslav culinary traditions. Roasted sweet peppers give the sauce a rich flavor with a hint of smokiness, while pine nuts add a delicate nutty depth. The lightness of the cream balances the richness of the ingredients, creating a velvety texture. Spices like basil and black pepper enhance the aroma, making each forkful special. This dish is perfect for both family dinners and cozy evenings with a glass of wine. It pairs wonderfully with penne that absorbs the sauce, revealing all its rich flavors.
