Lazy Spaghetti Bolognese

Lazy spaghetti Bolognese is a simplified version of the classic Italian dish that originated in Bologna. In the traditional recipe, the sauce is cooked slowly to allow the flavors to develop deeply. Here, the process is sped up: sautéed ground meat, vegetables, and canned tomatoes create a rich and aromatic sauce in just a few minutes. The dish has a rich meaty flavor with a slight tang from the tomatoes, complemented by the tenderness of spaghetti. It’s perfect for a quick dinner while retaining the traditional charm of Italian cuisine. Due to its simplicity and availability of ingredients, this version of Bolognese has become popular among those who appreciate a tasty yet easy-to-make dish.

If you have leftover minced meat after making consomme, take a deep skillet, heat olive oil in it, lightly fry the minced meat, add chopped tomatoes, and simmer on low heat for a quarter of an hour. If the sauce is too thick, you can add water, broth, or tomato juice. Season with salt and pepper at the end.
