Rinse the mung beans, place them in a pot with water, add turmeric, and bring to a boil.
- Mung peas: 100 g
- Water: 500 ml
- Turmeric: pinch

Boil for 25 minutes until the mung beans are soft and the liquid evaporates.

Remove from heat and set aside.

Heat oil in a deep pan and add cumin seeds.
- Vegetable oil: 2.5 tablespoons
- Caraway seeds: 0.5 teaspoon

When they start to crackle, add garlic, onion, and sauté until golden brown.
- Finely chopped garlic: 3 cloves

Add frozen peas, ginger, green chili and sauté for 2 minutes.
- Frozen green peas: 2 tablespoons
- Grated ginger: 1.5 tablespoon
- Green chili pepper: 2 pieces

Add mung beans and 1 tsp of salt, then add rice and stir.
- Mung peas: 100 g
- Rice: 75 g

Heat the tomatoes on low heat for 3-4 minutes.
