Rice with cilantro

Cilantro rice is a fragrant dish of Indian cuisine that combines the tenderness of rice with the spicy freshness of herbs. Traditionally, rice holds a central place in Indian gastronomy, and the addition of cilantro gives it a special touch of freshness. The mild heat of jalapeño and garlic sautéed with onions enhances the rich flavor of the dish, while chicken broth makes it particularly soft and flavorful. The rice grains absorb all the tastes and aromas, becoming tender and airy. It serves as a wonderful side dish to meat or vegetable dishes or as a standalone meal for a light lunch or dinner.
