Light chicken paprikash is a simple and delicious dish with roots in European cuisines, especially Hungarian. It is characterized by the rich aroma of sweet paprika that gives the chicken warm and spicy notes. Stewed in a creamy sauce, it becomes tender and juicy. The onion caramelizes during cooking, enhancing the dish's sweetness, while serving it with noodles, potatoes, or grains makes it hearty and versatile. This recipe is for those who appreciate simplicity and rich flavor: just four main ingredients turn into a cozy homemade treat. Perfect for family dinners where warmth and tasty traditions matter.
