Homemade Cabbage Rolls

6 servings

60 minutes

Golubtsy is a traditional dish of Ukrainian cuisine with roots deep in history. Tender cabbage leaves carefully wrapped around a fragrant mixture of beef and pork mince with rice create a harmony of taste. The uniqueness of this recipe is the addition of prunes, which adds a light sweetness and spiciness, turning ordinary golubtsy into a culinary masterpiece. Stewing in sour cream sauce makes the dish especially tender and juicy, while bay leaf adds a subtle aroma. Golubtsy is a symbol of home comfort and hospitality; they can be served both on festive tables and on weekdays. The dish pairs wonderfully with rye bread, fresh vegetables, and sour cream. A true delight for gourmets!

  • 10

Grease the pan with vegetable oil and heat it up.
