Whole grain porridge is the embodiment of a hearty and healthy breakfast that warms the soul. This dish has roots in Russian cuisine where grain porridges have always been a symbol of abundance and health. A mix of wild rice, oatmeal and pearl barley flakes, millet flakes, aromatic cinnamon and citrus zest creates a rich flavor that intertwines softness and light spiciness. Dried fruits add natural sweetness while nuts and syrup allow for texture and flavor experimentation when served. This porridge is perfect for leisurely morning meals, energizing and nourishing the body with valuable elements. It is cooked in a pressure cooker allowing the grains to unfold and acquire amazing tenderness reminiscent of old Russian hospitality traditions.
