Cutlets with gravy are a cozy dish of Russian cuisine that combines the juiciness of meat and the tenderness of aromatic gravy. Historically, such cutlets appeared in home cooking as a way to make meat dishes more juicy and hearty. Ground beef mixed with onions, garlic, and spices acquires a rich flavor, while the addition of gravy made from chicken broth and tomato paste gives the dish a pleasant tanginess and richness. Cutlets pair excellently with mashed potatoes, buckwheat, or vegetables, making the meal rich and cozy. This versatile dish is suitable for both family dinners and festive gatherings, filling the home with the aromas of home cooking.
