Potato zrazy with meat

Zrazy is a popular dish in Eastern European countries, especially Poland, Lithuania, Belarus and Ukraine. Traditionally, zrazy are made from meat with different fillings, such as mushrooms or eggs. And also with potatoes.

Boil the potatoes, drain all the water, mash until smooth, add an egg, salt, and pepper. Gradually add flour: the amount of flour may vary, the potato dough should not stick too much to your hands. Set aside to cool.
- Potato: 7 pieces
- Chicken egg: 1 piece
- Wheat flour: 250 g
- Spices: to taste

Fry finely chopped onion and garlic in vegetable oil until golden. Add minced meat, season with salt and pepper, and fry until cooked.

- Minced meat: 500 g

Slightly moisten your hands with water or grease them with oil. Form the patties: make an elongated cake from the potato in your palm, place the filling in the middle, and seal the edges of the cake. Coat each patty on all sides with breadcrumbs. Fry on medium heat on both sides until golden brown.
