Tteokbokki is an iconic dish of Korean cuisine that reflects its love for bold flavors and spicy combinations. Originally made from sweet rice and served with a spicy sauce, this adapted version includes juicy sausages that add richness and a slight saltiness to the dish. The sauce, made from paprika, red pepper, garlic, and honey, creates a harmonious balance of sweet, spicy, and umami flavors. The soft, chewy rice cakes absorb the rich tomato taste beautifully, while the addition of green onions adds fresh accents. Tteokbokki is the perfect choice for lovers of spicy snacks to share with friends over a warm and cozy dinner.
