Chicken Pastrami

Chicken Pastrami is a great replacement for chemical-laden store-bought meat products and is simply a wonderful snack. Moreover, Pastrami is quite easy to prepare.

Wash the chicken breast and place it in a container. Pour milk mixed well with salt over the chicken breast. Leave it in the milk for 2 hours.
- Milk: 1 glass
- Chicken breast: 1 piece
- Salt: 3 teaspoons

After three hours, remove the chicken breast from the milk, dry it with paper towels, and tightly wrap it with cooking twine. Prepare the marinade. In a separate container, mix olive oil, honey, soy sauce, lime juice, nutmeg, sweet paprika, and garlic pressed through a garlic press. Generously coat the chicken fillet with the marinade and let it marinate for 10-15 minutes.
- Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce: 1 tablespoon
- Honey: 1 teaspoon
- Nutmeg: 0.3 teaspoon
- Sweet paprika: 0.5 teaspoon
- Lime juice: 1 tablespoon
- Garlic: 3 cloves

Next, place the chicken breast in a baking dish or on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and send it to an oven preheated to 220 degrees for 20 minutes. Turn off the oven and leave the chicken pastrami there for another 20 minutes. Remove the pastrami and let it cool. Remove the string. Cut into small pieces. The chicken pastrami turns out tender, juicy, and aromatic.
