Chicken fillet baked with apples

Chicken fillet baked with apples is a harmony of tender meat and fruity sweetness, traditional to European cuisine. The dish's history is linked to the search for the perfect balance between meat and fruits, characteristic of ancient gastronomic traditions in France and Germany. Juicy onions add piquancy, while the creamy sauce softens the taste, making it velvety. Baked cheese completes the composition with a light stretchiness and a golden crust. This dish is perfect for both family dinners and festive receptions, and its flavor combination makes it versatile: it pairs wonderfully with white wine and fresh green salads. It is best served hot when the cheese is still soft and the apples retain their sweet tenderness.
