Side dish of frozen vegetables in a multicooker

30 minutes
This simple and fragrant side dish made from frozen vegetables, cooked in a multicooker, exemplifies the convenience of modern cuisine. Russian cooking has always valued dishes that combine ease of preparation with rich flavor. Oil gives the vegetables tenderness, while spices add depth of taste. The finished side dish can be served as a standalone meal or used as an accompaniment to meat, fish, or porridge. With its quick preparation and soft texture, it is suitable even for children. It is an excellent solution for those who want to maintain a balance between healthy eating and minimal time expenditure.

1
We set the multicooker to the 'Baking' mode for 30 minutes, add oil and heat for 6-8 minutes. Once the oil melts and heats up, we add frozen vegetables, close the lid, and cook for about 10 minutes (i.e., wait for the vegetables to thaw).
- Butter: 25 g
- Frozen vegetable mix: 400 g

After 10 minutes, we open the lid, salt, pepper, sprinkle spices on the vegetables, and mix. We close the lid and cook for another 10-15 minutes (to the desired firmness; if cooked for 15 minutes, the vegetables won't be crunchy but won't fall apart either, making them easy for small children to chew).
- Salt: to taste
- Ground black pepper: to taste
- Spices: to taste
