Turkey leg with baked potatoes and cranberry sauce is a refined dish of European cuisine that combines tender meat, aromatic herbs, and a sweet-sour berry flavor. The turkey, roasted to a golden crust, retains its juiciness due to prior frying. The potatoes infused with garlic notes and spicy herbs acquire an appetizing crispy crust. The cranberry sauce adds zest to the dish, harmoniously highlighting the meat's flavor. This dish is perfect for a cozy family dinner or a festive feast, delighting with rich textures and intense aromas. Such a combination of ingredients makes it special, while the simplicity of preparation allows enjoying exquisite taste without extra hassle.

1
Preheat the oven to 160 degrees. Wash and dry the turkey legs with paper towels. Rub with a mixture of thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper to taste. Sear in a pan for 10 minutes in butter on all sides.

Place the chicken drumsticks in a baking dish lined with foil and bake at 160 degrees for 20 minutes on each side, basting with the juices, and another 20-30 minutes 'standing' to the desired browning level depending on the size of the drumsticks.

Peel and cut the potatoes into equal wedges. In a deep bowl, mix olive oil, crushed garlic, salt, and herbs. Add the potato wedges to the bowl and mix well to evenly coat with oil. Place the wedges on a foil-lined baking sheet and bake in the oven at 160 degrees for 30 minutes, then increase the temperature to 220 and cook until done and desired crispness for another 10-15 minutes.
