Cut the beef into cubes.

Peel the onion and cut it into large half-rings.

Slice the mushrooms (I prefer them larger, but it's up to personal preference).

Pour a little vegetable oil into the pot. Heat it up, add pieces of beef, and fry. Fry until all the released liquid evaporates - about 15 minutes.
- Vegetable oil: 100 ml

Add more vegetable oil, put in onion, carrot, garlic. Stir and fry on high heat for 10 minutes.

Add mushrooms and fry for another 10 minutes.
- Champignons: 250 g

Add soy sauce, tomato paste, paprika, and red hot pepper. Season with salt and pepper, pour in half a glass of water, and bring to a boil. Simmer on low heat covered for 15-20 minutes.
- Soy sauce: 4 tablespoons
- Tomato paste: 30 g
- Paprika: 1 teaspoon
- Ground red pepper: 0.3 teaspoon
- Salt: to taste

Pour 1.5 cups of water into the meat and bring to a boil. Peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes. Add the potatoes and cook for another 30 minutes over medium heat.
