Prepare gnocchi. Boil potatoes in their skins, peel and mash into puree. Add flour, grated parmesan, eggs, salt, and knead a firm dough. Roll into sausages and cut into dumplings (gnocchi). Send the gnocchi to boiling salted water and cook until they float. Leave half a glass of the water in which the gnocchi were boiled.
- Potato: 4 pieces
- Wheat flour: 150 g
- Parmesan cheese: 50 g
- Salt: to taste
- Chicken egg: 2 pieces

Slice the onion into half rings, chop the garlic, and cut the chicken meat into cubes.
- White onion: 1 piece
- Garlic: 3 cloves
- Smoked chicken: 250 g

Chop the basil leaves, leaving some for garnish. Cut the cherry tomatoes (optional: blanch in boiling water and peel) in half.
- Basil: 10 g
- Red cherry tomatoes: 15 pieces

Heat olive oil in a pan with thyme and garlic, sauté the onion until translucent.
- Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
- Dried thyme: 10 g
- Garlic: 3 cloves

Add tomatoes, chopped basil and simmer for 15 minutes, then add salt, pepper and lemon zest.
- Red cherry tomatoes: 15 pieces

Add half a glass of water in which the gnocchi were cooked, and the smoked chicken, and simmer for 3 minutes.
- Smoked chicken: 250 g

Add gnocchi to the sauce and heat for 2-3 minutes.
