Oven-baked pink salmon is a classic dish of Russian cuisine that combines simplicity of preparation with rich flavor. The tender and nutritious salmon is first lightly fried to a golden crust and then soaked in a fragrant tomato sauce with onions, garlic, and spices. Baking in the oven makes the fish especially soft and full of flavors, giving it spicy notes. The dish is perfect for a family dinner or festive table. The light acidity of tomatoes, subtle sweetness of sugar, and spicy seasonings create a harmonious balance, making the salmon an excellent accompaniment to potatoes or fresh bread. This recipe recalls the traditions of home cooking where every detail matters and the taste warms the soul.
