Chicken liver in sour cream

A simple and understandable dish that has firmly established itself in Russian cuisine - chicken liver in sour cream. Some people add carrots, but we did without them. Serve with mashed potatoes, buckwheat, rice and generally with any side dish.

Prepare the necessary ingredients.

Wash the liver. If you have time, soak it in milk for 20 minutes for extra tenderness. If not, you can skip soaking. Trim the veins.
- Chicken liver: 600 g

Cut into small pieces.

Slice the onion.

Melt the butter in a pan.
- Butter: 20 g

Fry the onion until golden in butter.
- Onion: 1 head

Add the liver. Fry for 5-7 minutes until the red color disappears.
- Chicken liver: 600 g

Salt and pepper.
- Salt: to taste
- Ground black pepper: to taste

Pour with sour cream.
- Sour cream 20%: 500 g
