Homemade chicken and red onion skewers are a true embodiment of Mediterranean gastronomy, where simple ingredients turn into something special. The origins of such a dish can be found in Eastern and Mediterranean traditions, where marinades based on vinegar, honey, and spices give the meat a rich flavor. Baked pieces of chicken soak up the aromas of garlic, red wine vinegar, and freshly ground pepper, creating a balance of sweetness and spiciness. The onion caramelizes, adding pleasant softness to the skewers. The dish is perfect for cozy home dinners as well as festive gatherings. Its ease of preparation makes it accessible even for novice cooks, while the result consistently delights with rich flavor and juiciness of the meat.
