Fried halibut is an exquisite dish of French cuisine that combines simplicity in preparation with refined taste. The history of this dish traces back to the gastronomic traditions of France, where fresh fish has always held an important place in cooking. Halibut is a sea fish with a delicate, buttery flavor and firm texture that is perfect for frying. The light crispy crust formed during frying enhances the fish's natural juiciness, while the final touch of olive oil adds aromatic freshness. The dish pairs wonderfully with boiled asparagus or light vegetable sides, creating a harmonious balance of flavors. Fried halibut is ideal for special occasions when you want to impress guests with a sophisticated yet simple recipe.

1
Cut the halibut fillet into portion pieces and salt them on both sides. Heat a pan with vegetable oil (better if it's a pan without a handle or with a steel handle, so it can be placed in the oven later) and fry the fish for four minutes on one side and two minutes on the other.
- Halibut fillet: 1.5 kg
- Salt: to taste
- Vegetable oil: 50 ml
2
Place the pan with fish in the oven preheated to 200 degrees for two to three minutes.
3
