Prepare the necessary ingredients.

Thaw the fish. The best way to thaw fish is to transfer it from the freezer to the refrigerator, where it will gradually defrost. If the fish was bought by weight, first place it in a suitable container and cover it. The second safe and quick method for thawing fish is to take it out of the freezer and put it in a pot of cold water. If you bought the fish in a plastic bag, do not take it out. If the fish was bought by weight, put it in a bag, remove as much air as possible, and place it in cold water. The fish should not come into contact with water or air while thawing.

Clean the pollock from scales, cut off all fins, remove the insides, rinse well, and dry.

Peel the onion, wash it well, cut it into small cubes or strips, and place it in a baking dish.

Cut the fish into small pieces and place them in a dish.

Wash the tomatoes, remove the stem if they are large, and cut them into 2 pieces, placing them next to the fish. Tomatoes can be used fresh or frozen.

Add 50 ml of vegetable oil to the form.

Cover the dish with a lid or foil and bake in the oven at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes.

Take the fish with tomatoes out of the oven, place mozzarella cheese on top of the fish. Bake the dish in the oven for another 5-7 minutes covered at 180 degrees.
