Prepare all the ingredients.

Salt and pepper the chicken breasts, add ⅔ of the teriyaki sauce and mix. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Chicken fillet: 4 pieces
- Teriyaki sauce: 60 ml
- Salt: to taste
- Ground black pepper: to taste

Cut the pineapple into half rings no thicker than 1 cm.
- Pineapple: 200 g

Heat vegetable oil in a pan and fry the chicken breasts until golden brown on both sides.
- Vegetable oil: 30 ml
- Chicken fillet: 4 pieces

Transfer the chicken to a cutting board and let it rest for 5 minutes.

Cut each fillet lengthwise, like a hot dog bun.

Place slices of pineapple in each fillet.
- Pineapple: 200 g

Place thin slices of cheese on top.
- Swiss cheese: 100 g

Return the chicken breasts to the skillet and brush them with the remaining teriyaki. Cover with a lid and cook on low heat for another 5-7 minutes, until the cheese melts.
