Baked red mullet is a dish that reflects the simplicity and richness of Russian cuisine flavors. This fish, popular for its tender meat, is baked with lemon that enhances freshness and adds a slight tang. Butter and olive oil make the texture soft and juicy, while salt highlights the fish's natural taste. Baked mullet is often served with potatoes or fresh vegetables, creating a harmonious combination. This dish is perfect for a family dinner and does not require complex culinary skills to prepare. Historically, baking fish in Russian cuisine was used to preserve its juiciness and aroma, and adding lemon became a popular way to introduce freshness into traditional recipes.
