Heat vegetable oil in a pot, add rice, and fry until golden brown.
- Rice: 2 glasss
- Vegetable oil: 80 ml

Add dried fruits and spices (cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, saffron). Add salt and sugar to taste. Sauté for another 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.

- Prunes: 55 g

Pour in enough water to be 2-3 cm above the rice level. Bring to a boil and cook on high heat until the water evaporates to the rice level. Cover and simmer on low heat until fully cooked.
