French style pork steak

20 minutes
French-style pork steak is a true embodiment of culinary excellence in French cuisine. This recipe draws inspiration from classic meat cooking methods, where juicy pork neck is infused with the aromas of mustard, Provençal herbs, and butter. During frying, the steak develops an appetizing golden crust, and the addition of a pepper and spice mix gives it a refined taste with a hint of spiciness. A key feature of the dish is finishing the cooking under a lid, making the meat incredibly tender. Serving on a warmed plate with mayonnaise and sumac highlights the depth of flavor, making this steak an ideal choice for a cozy dinner in French gastronomic style.
