Place the cabbage in a heated pan, add vegetable oil and salt, then it's better to cover it so it can stew.

While the cabbage is stewing, you should chop the pepper after removing its seeds and stem.

Only the leafy part of the greens should be taken and chopped finely.

Set aside the chopped vegetables until the cabbage is half cooked (about 25 minutes if the cabbage is old, and a bit faster for fresh cabbage).
