Fried Chicken with Fruit

Fried chicken with fruits is a gourmet dish that combines the tenderness of chicken meat with the sweet-spicy flavor of fruits. This recipe is inspired by European cuisine, where the combination of meat and fruits is popular for creating a harmonious taste. Chicken breast, fried to a golden crust, is complemented by the aroma of garlic and pine nuts, then simmered in sherry with wine vinegar, sugar, and dried fruits—apricots and prunes. This gives the dish a sweet depth and mild acidity. The chicken becomes wonderfully juicy, and the sauce it absorbs makes it particularly appetizing. Serving with rice adds textural variety and perfectly complements the flavor. Ideal for festive dinners or cozy family gatherings.

Cut each piece of chicken on three sides. In a deep pan, heat olive oil and fry the breasts on high heat for 2 minutes on each side until golden brown. Sprinkle with finely chopped garlic and nuts and fry for another minute until the nuts are toasted.
