Meatballs 'Hedgehogs' are a cozy dish of Russian cuisine, loved for their simplicity and appetizing taste. Their name comes from the rice grains added to the minced meat, creating a prickly texture on the surface of the meatballs that resembles hedgehogs. Tender, juicy meatballs are cooked in aromatic broth, and the sour cream sauce adds softness and a creamy note. They pair perfectly with boiled rice soaked in broth or mashed potatoes. This versatile dish is great for family dinners, delighting with its rich flavor and nutritional value.
