Chicken in cream is a refined dish of Russian cuisine that embodies the warmth of home and rich gastronomic traditions. Tender pieces of chicken soaked in the aroma of butter become even juicier through slow simmering in cream. Mushrooms and onions sautéed to a golden hue add a rich flavor to the sauce, while red sweet wine adds a subtle note of noble acidity. The finished dish has a velvety texture and deep creamy taste with light spicy hints of pepper. Chicken in cream sauce pairs perfectly with mashed potatoes, pasta, or fragrant bread, allowing one to fully enjoy its rich flavor.
