Oven-baked cabbage with bacon and parmesan

Simple, tasty, fast, and this is exactly the dish you can surprise your guests with. It will take a maximum of half an hour to cook, and you need to eat the cabbage steaks hot, before the bacon becomes covered in a greasy film.

Prepare the ingredients.

Remove wilted and dirty leaves from the cabbage. Cut into steaks 2 cm thick.
- White cabbage: 1 piece

Remove the leaves from the rosemary sprig and chop them finely.
- Rosemary: 1 sprig

Chop the parsley leaves finely.
- Parsley: to taste

In a bowl, mix olive oil, dried garlic, crushed rosemary, chili flakes, salt, and pepper.
- Olive oil: 60 ml
- Ground dried garlic: 1 teaspoon
- Chili pepper flakes: 1 teaspoon
- Salt: to taste
- Ground black pepper: to taste

Line the baking tray with foil, grease with vegetable oil. Place the cabbage. Generously rub the cabbage slices with the spice mixture on both sides. Bake the steaks for 35 minutes at 200 degrees.
- White cabbage: 1 piece

Place bacon slices in a dry cold skillet, turn on medium heat. Fry until golden brown, flipping occasionally.
- Bacon: 200 g

Dry the cooked bacon on paper towels and chop it finely.

Take the baking tray out of the oven. Immediately sprinkle grated parmesan on top so it melts.
- Parmesan cheese: 100 g
