Minced Meat Casserole is a simple and very quick dish that can also be incredibly delicious. You just need to know a couple of secrets. Mix nutmeg into mashed potatoes for flavor, grated cheese and an egg for a creamy texture - that's life hack number one. Fry the mince with onions and carrots and mix with chopped herbs and fresh peas, so you get a very juicy and pleasant filling for the casserole, and that's secret number two. Finally, before baking, sprinkle the surface with grated cheese - this will give the casserole a nice golden crust.

Peel the potato, cut it into 2-4 pieces if it's large, cover with water and boil until cooked.
- Potato: 1 kg

When the potatoes are ready, drain the water, add butter and mash into a puree. Season with salt and add nutmeg to taste, 100 grams of grated cheese, and an egg. Mix well.
- Butter: 50 g

- Hard cheese: 150 g
- Chicken egg: 1 piece

Chop the onion into small cubes and the carrot into cubes about 1 cm on each side.

Heat vegetable oil in a pan and fry the onion until golden.

Add carrot to the onion, fry while stirring for another 5 minutes.

Add the minced meat to the pan and fry, stirring, until the meat changes color.

Add canned tomatoes to the pan, stir and simmer until all the liquid evaporates, about 10-15 minutes.

Finally, season the minced meat with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and stir in the green peas and chopped parsley.

Spread the puree on top and smooth it out. Sprinkle with the remaining grated cheese and place in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
