Stuffed peppers with meat is a classic dish of Russian cuisine that combines simplicity of preparation with rich flavor. It is believed that recipes for stuffed vegetables originated from ancient peasant cuisine, where it was important to use ingredients to their maximum benefit. Tender sweet peppers soaked in meat filling with rice and vegetables acquire amazing juiciness and aroma, especially when simmered in broth with tomatoes and oil. In the end, the dish is complemented by a sour cream sauce that adds softness and a creamy touch.
