Bulgogi is one of the most famous dishes in Korean cuisine, translating to 'fire meat.' Thin slices of ribeye beef are marinated in a fragrant mixture of soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger before being grilled to a golden brown. Keep the meat in the freezer for 20 minutes, then cut it diagonally across the fibers into strips 3 mm thick. Slice the onion into wedges 2.5 cm thick and the pepper into thin strips 1.2 cm thick.
- Beef Ribeye: 700 g
- Red onion: 2 heads
- Green pepper: 1 piece

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, minced garlic, and grated ginger. In another bowl, mix chopped onion and pepper and drizzle with half of the marinade. Pour the remaining soy mixture over the meat and let it marinate for 15 minutes.
- Soy sauce: 0.3 glass
- Sesame oil: 1 tablespoon
- Brown dark sugar: 2 tablespoons
- Garlic: 6 cloves
- Ginger: 1 tablespoon
- Red onion: 2 heads
- Green pepper: 1 piece

In a large non-stick skillet, heat 2 teaspoons of vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the onion and pepper mixture and sauté until soft for 5 minutes. Transfer to a plate. Wipe the bottom of the skillet thoroughly with a paper towel.

Heat the remaining 2 teaspoons of vegetable oil over high heat. Fry the meat in portions until browned (about 2 minutes per portion). Return all the meat to the pan along with the released juices, add onion and pepper. Cook, stirring, for about a minute.
