Navy-style pasta

How to cook navy-style pasta. This classic Soviet dish appeared around the time of the war, and was first recorded in a cookbook in 1955. And although Russian cuisine has now mastered both bolognese and carbonara, navy-style pasta still remains almost the main pasta dish in Russia. A simple, quick, delicious recipe. We used pasta for our video recipe, but any pasta will do.

Prepare all the ingredients.

Chop the onion into small cubes.
- Onion: 80 g

In a large skillet, heat a mixture of vegetable and clarified butter.
- Melted butter: 15 g
- Vegetable oil: 60 ml

Fry the minced meat for 10 minutes.
- Minced meat: 300 g

Sauté the onion separately in vegetable oil.
- Onion: 80 g

Add sautéed onion to the minced meat.
- Onion: 80 g

Cook the pasta in boiling salted water according to the instructions on the package.
- Pasta: 320 g
- Salt: to taste

Drain the water and add the cooked pasta. Mix with the minced meat.

- Minced meat: 300 g
- Ground black pepper: to taste
