Chicken breast in kefir is a tender and aromatic dish of Russian cuisine that combines simplicity of preparation with delightful taste. The origins of this recipe lie in the tradition of using fermented dairy products for marinating, making the chicken especially soft and juicy. Kefir not only adds a slight tang but also helps retain the meat's natural juiciness. Garlic and black pepper add spiciness, while green onions bring freshness. This dish is perfect for a light dinner or a cozy family lunch. Serve it with a side of fresh vegetables or a light salad to highlight its delicate flavor.
