    If the fish is whole, we cut it into smaller cubes for the blender or larger ones for the meat grinder to make minced fish. We mix salmon and cod in a 1:1 ratio; if you want it fattier, add more salmon; if leaner, add more cod. Cod and salmon can be frozen in blocks or as you prefer; the quality of salmon meat doesn't matter in patties; you can use scraps from any part of the fish.

    During or after making the minced meat, add salt and black pepper to taste. Mix well.

    We shape the patties without pressing the minced meat too hard. We coat them in flour or another breading; I use high-grade wheat flour.

    Heat oil for frying in a pan, I use olive oil. You can use a grill pan; if you add more salmon, it will provide some fat for frying.

    Fry until golden brown or to your taste on both sides, so the coating sticks.

    Next, preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Place the patties on baking paper and cook for 5-10 minutes until ready.

    Garnish. Cut zucchini into four parts and marinate in oil, pepper, salt, and garlic (can cook immediately). If desired, you can also fry them a bit. Place in the same oven and cook for 15-20 minutes. Enjoy your meal!
