First, we prepare the filling. For this, we pass the meat (700 g) through a meat grinder along with onions. We fry the resulting minced meat in a large amount of melted butter and add crushed walnuts. Salt and pepper are added to taste.

- Melted butter: 500 g
- Walnuts: 200 g
- Ground black pepper: to taste

Now we prepare the filling for the outer layer. We pass 500 g of meat through a meat grinder with bulgur twice. From the resulting mass, we form balls, make a dent with a finger, fill it with filling, and shape it like a 'lemon'. We place the finished ishli in the freezer. They can be stored for a long time.

Boil in salted water for 20-25 minutes. Serve with lemon.
